Full Review
As a long time netizen (I started navigating back in the 1990s, with a 14.4 kbps dial-up modem) I find it very important to have a good first impression when I first visit a website. In my long years of finding my own way online – geez, has it been 20 years already? – I acquired a sixth sense that tells me if a website is legit or fake. I have to admit, my first impression when I accessed the bwin website was not a great one, but I soon realized that it was wrong – it was the blacnkess of the website that made me think of scammers, not the services themselves.
Today’s review is about bwin, an online gambling and sports betting establishment run by the bwin.party digital entertainment group for two years now. It has everything an online gambler March need – casino games, sporting events, poker, instant games and bingo. Din I mention the live casino? Because it has a live casino, too…
So, who is bwin and how did it become the operator we know today?
In the beginning – in the year 1997 – a bunch of Austrian entrepreneurs have rode the wave of online gambling revolution started just a few years before and founded a new company active in this industry called Betandwin. Going online took almost a year, but its proprietary in-game betting system made it quite popular in a short time. After a few years of success, the company acquired Simon Bold, a sports betting company based in Gibraltar, and moved its headquarters there.
In 2025 betandwin launched its first online casino, and two years later its first soft games platform, followed by multiplayer poker in 2025. After a series of acquisitions and sales meant to expand its offering, bwin and one of its major competitors, PartyGaming, have announced their merger in 2025, giving birth to one of the biggest online gambling groups of the world: the bwin.party digital entertainment group.
Now the group operates sports betting platforms like partybets and gamebookers, the popular Party Poker website, the Party Casino online casino, several popular bingo halls, the World Poker Tour brand and others. And, of course, there is the bwin, where all online gambling options are gathered under the same roof.
Although bwin offers its players many possibilities to explore, its core business is still the sports betting platform, offering up to 30,000 bets in over 90 sports each day, in 18 different languages to thousands of players from all over the world. With some exceptions, of course.
At the time of writing this article bwin had almost 18,000 bets in sports like football, tennis, basketball (Europe’s most popular ones), rugby, snooker, motor sports and many more, not to mention their specials – the bets on TV show, the Eurovision song contest, the Scottish independence referendum or the UK General Elections.
The bwin live betting platform offers an user friendly way for players to place their bets on games in progress, with a great variety of options to consider. In case of the Atletico Madrid vs. Chelsea FC, for example, players can bet on the result of the match, the winner of the second half, the total number of goals, the number of goals scored by one of the teams in the first half, the team that will score the first goal, and so on. Click here to find out what I am blabbering about.
Besides pre-game and in-game betting, registered bwin users can watch video highlights from various football leagues, place bets from their mobile devices or drift over to the poker, casino, games or bingo sections for a quick side game any time.
The bwin casino is another point of interest for us at GamblingBet (that’s why our website has this name), so let’s take a look on this section for a change.
The bwin Casino has its own lineup of casino games, complete with live dealer games, a great variety of classic and modern casino games like the usual (roulette, blackjack, baccarat), video slots and poker, backgammon, darts, yahtzee, and many more. Some of the games are available for instant play, right in the browser window, but the downloadable casino package (available for Windows and Mac) has even more games, more jackpots and more promotions.
Speaking of promotions, bwin has quite a few – casino tournaments, cashbacks, various challenges, many of them to choose from. Click here to see them all.
The bwin casino is also available for mobile players – there’s no need to download and install anything, just simply visit the m.bwin address and start playing right away.
The Games section at bwin is similar to the casino – many of the same games are available for instant play, complete with progressive jackpots, slots, table games and more. Besides the usual, this section also has virtual sports and mini games – like the Virtual Championship, the Virtual World Cup, a separate game for the Manchester United, mini Blackjack, mini Roulette and more.
And finally bingo – with 30, 75 and 90 ball variations, a bunch of bingo rooms, casino side games and many more – this is also worth a visit.
So, we have covered every option available for players willing to bet their money at bwin. Now let’s take a peek on a thing I consider worth mentioning: bwin’s rewards program called b’inside.
By placing bets, playing casino and games, “showing ones poker face” or playing some bingo, each player at the bwin online gambling den will get two kinds of reward points: Market points and Status points. As their name suggests, these two have different uses: the Status points are used to measure the player’s performance at bwin, and the Market points are used for acquiring various rewards at the b’inside market.
Players can earn these points by placing bets with odds between 1.01 and 12, for playing ring games and tournaments at the poker room, by playing casino and live casino games and for playing bingo (various amounts of points for various amounts gambled at these games).
So why measure the performance of the players? Well, with a higher Status point count come various benefits. There are three levels a player at bwin can reach: green (between 0 and 400 status points), white (between 400 and 1,000 status points) and yellow (over 1,400 status points). With all these levels the benefits increase – higher bonus limits, free SMS notifications, discounts, exclusive raffles, special products and promotions, and more.
OK, so what can you spend your market points on, you might ask. Well, there are lots of possibilities at the b’inside Market: books, electronics, branded clothes, bonuses in different sections, luxury items, cruises, sports cars and more. Take a look around – click here.
So, in conclusion, don’t let the grim look of the bwin website fool you – it has a great variety of ways to spend a few fun hours, possibly win some money, and you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your room for it.
